Journal of Islamic Studies and Syariah (JISS) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang mempublikasikan hasil penelitian, kajian konseptual, dan tinjauan literatur di bidang studi Islam, hukum Islam, dan syariah. Jurnal ini menjadi wadah akademik bagi para peneliti, akademisi, praktisi, dan mahasiswa untuk mendiseminasikan karya ilmiah yang orisinal dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang syariah dan kajian keislaman.

Paduka: Journal of Islamic Studies (PJOIS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Paduka Anambas. The journal is dedicated to interdisciplinary studies in Islamic sciences, Sharia law, and contemporary Islamic thought. PJOIS aims to publish high-quality research that advances understanding of Islamic jurisprudence, legal interpretation, and socio-religious issues within the framework of Sharia.

The scope of PJOIS includes, but is not limited to, studies of the Qur’an and Hadith, Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, Islamic Family Law, Islamic Economics and Finance, Constitutional Law in Islamic perspective, comparative madhhab studies, as well as contemporary issues in Islamic law. The journal welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and case studies that contribute to academic discourse, offer solutions to socio-legal challenges, and provide insights into the development and application of Sharia in diverse contexts.

PJOIS serves as a platform for researchers, scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share scientific findings, theoretical developments, and practical applications that support the understanding and implementation of Islamic law. The journal is committed to fostering academic dialogue that bridges classical Islamic scholarship with modern socio-legal realities, and to encouraging constructive engagement between tradition and contemporary needs.

Every submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and methodological validity of the research. PJOIS is published twice a year (biannually), and all its content is made openly accessible, ensuring wide dissemination of scholarly works to academics, legal experts, and the general public.
