Paduka: Journal of Islamic Studies and Syariah is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Paduka Anambas, a private Islamic higher education institution established in 2021 in the Kepulauan Anambas Regency, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The journal focuses on advancing scholarly discourse in Islamic studies, Syariah law, and related interdisciplinary fields, aiming to produce Muslim scholars with strong aqidah, noble akhlak, deep knowledge, broad insights, and practical life skills for community service, national development, and economic empowerment through Islamic entrepreneurship models. It publishes original research, reviews, and case studies on topics such as Islamic education (Pendidikan Agama Islam), Syariah economics (Ekonomi Syariah), and sustainable community-based initiatives in remote archipelagic regions. As an open-access platform, the journal supports affordable access to higher education insights, aligning with STAI Paduka Anambas's mission to serve the approximately 45,000 residents across seven sub-districts in Anambas, fostering productive and ethical contributions to Islamic society and the nation. Submissions are welcomed biannually, emphasizing rigorous peer review and relevance to border and maritime Islamic contexts.
